Feature Slider Alignment

Recommended Posts

gremmie

Hey guys, For the life of me I can't figure out how to get the feature slider centered on my site. I've changed the "float: left" codes to "float: center" and back again but nothing changed. www.gremmie.net/testblog/ I have a left sidebar and a right sidebar. One main column in the middle. I'd like the feature slider to appear centered over the main column. Here's my code so far:

/* feature slider */
	#feature {margin: 0; padding: 10px 0;}
	#feature_slider .text-right .fexcerpt, #feature_slider .text-left .fexcerpt {height: 15px;}
	#feature_slider .fmedia .dcol-pad {padding: 0px; position: relative;}
	#feature_slider {height: 200px; margin-top: -10px; margin-bottom: -15px;width:620px;}
	#feature_slider .fcontent {width: 620px; top: 110px; left: 0;}
	#feature_slider .fcontent p {line-height: 1.0em;}
	#feature_slider .fcontent .dcol-pad {padding: 0px 30px 0px;}
	#feature_slider .text-right .fcontent {float: left;}
	#feature_slider .text-left .fcontent {float: left; }
	#feature_slider .text-bottom .fcontent {float: left;}
	#feature_slider .fcontainer .feature-wrap {width: 620px;}
	div.ftext img { display: none;}
	.fcontent .ftitle { font-size: 1.2em !important }
	#feature_slider .text-bottom .fcontent .ftext {font-size: 0.9em; padding: 1px 1px 1px 1px;}
	#feature-area { border: 1px solid #E9E9E9 ; width: 600px; }

CSS does not have a float center. You can set a left margin however until it is centered.
