A/B Split Testing on all page elements?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if there's a way to perform A/B split testing on each individual element in a page. What I mean is, I'd like to split test the text of an individual box, or feature, or callout, etc. So that visitors would randomly be shown one or the other, and then I can evaluate which is the winner... If it doesn't exist, someone should be looking at this feature as a plugin. This method of verifying hunches as to what wording/images/colors etc work best is becoming more popular with the Lean Startup movement.

Honestly, I have no idea what you're talking about, sorry! ;) However if you're wanting a box to randomly show something then perhaps a plugin exists that does what you're wanting. Have you searched http://www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ ?

There's currently no functionality like that but that's a great idea for a plugin. Perhaps someone will develop one if there is enough interest.
