bhayent1 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2009 Hi Andrew: There's a bug in the WHP home page photo carousel - the "MORE" button is missing in the 3rd & 4th frames - and off center & written over in the 5th frame. kingdomengineer 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2009 Hey Barbara... good looking site... how did you create your Links/Resources page? Is that just the full-width page template?
bhayent1 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2009 Hi Kingdom Engineer - Thank you. Your site is very nice too! To get the links page to layout in several columns, I have used the WP-Table plugin. I've configured it for 3 columns - with spacing in between. Here is a Jing video for you: http://www.screencast.com/users/BlogPup/folders/Jing/media/06262b95-4249-46bd-a98b-7af46b5fd4d6 Hope this is helpful. Andrew 207 Report post Posted November 20, 2009 Yes fantastic idea with the videos.. now that you mention it I'm going to make some The 'featurelink' button issue is related (I think) to how you have your features set up. These buttons are configured to show up when you add text to the 'link' field in the setup. Its also possible to add a link with a class of featurelink to create the button: `? ` Although an inline link might be left justified like your seeing... in that case add a rule to your custom CSS to compensate. Finally, Keep the videos up! Are you interested in working with us on these? If so, get in touch at andrew at pagelines.com...
bhayent1 0 Report post Posted November 20, 2009 Hi Andrew - Thanks for the clarification - I didn't realize that the Feature Link box populated/created the "MORE" button. However - what is strange is that there was no text in the 5th Feature Link - and yet the left-justified & over-written "MORE" button was there by default. Then I added a link to the Contact page & it created another "MORE" button". So now - I have removed the link from the 5th Feature Link box - it is entirely empty - and yet the messy "MORE" button is still there. I would guess that it is in the CSS somewhere - but not sure WHICH CSS file? Is it in the Custom CSS or the regular Stlye CSS? I've made another Jing video for you to see: http://www.screencast.com/users/BlogPup/folders/Jing/media/87a13ac0-115d-4cba-87f0-2255b02791d1 ALSO - I do not know anything abut writing/editing CSS on my own. Could you please post a screen capture and every explicit directions on what to change? This is rather urgent as the client wants to launch the site MONDAY!!! Thank you! Barbara PS - Happy to help if I can - I will email you directly about videos & the forum, etc.
Andrew 207 Report post Posted November 21, 2009 Hi Barbara, The feature link might be in the 'content' area, if you need to hard code things you can find these files inside of the 'template_feature.php' file inside the 'pro' folder. Please email jeff at pagelines.com for more specific help on your issue. Im out of town right now and can??t get to a great development setup for a couple days.
