Twitter Bar different on two different installs

Recommended Posts

Hello! I just upgraded my sites this weekend with the new framework (LOVE!). Another issue I've encountered is that the twitter bar at the bottom on http://agwine.com is gray, but on http://approachguides.com it's white. How can I make the one on http://approachguides.com match the gray color? I'm sure this isn't right, but I tried adding

#twitterbar { background:#f2f2f2; }

to my custom CSS, but that didn't work.

You had the right idea, just one minor change: #twitterbar { background:#f2f2f2 !important; }

That works! Only one thing...how do I get it to span the width of the page? Thanks for all of your help tonight!

Try adding this CSS:
section#twitterbar {width: 100%; background:#f2f2f2 !important;}
Please try this:
section#twitterbar {position: relative; margin:0 auto; width: 100%;}
Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

I think the entire page canvas needs to become full width in order for the TwitterBar to be full-width (since the TwitterBar is contained inside it).

You're right! I selected Color Control > Site Design Mode > Full Width Sections and it worked. I would have never found that. Thanks so much, Catrina. Have a great weekend!
