Navigation - Remove Hover, highlight of current page, line below

http://www.crittydesign.com is the site I'm working on right now. I'd really like to keep the menu as white text on a black bar without the underline, or any hover effects or highlights. Couldn't seem to narrow the options down using firebug.

I'm not sure if this will work, but let's give this a try:
/* NAV BACKGROUND AND BORDER UNDER NAV */ .navigation_wrap { border-bottom: 1px solid #000000 !important; background-color: #000000 !important; } /* TO CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE NAV TEXT AND BACKGROUND (NO HOVER) */ .main-nav li a { background-color: #000000 !important; color: #FFFFFF !important; } /* TO CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE NAV TEXT AND BACKGROUND ON HOVER */ .main-nav li a:hover { background-color: #000000 !important; color: #FFFFFF !important; } /* TO MAKE THE ACTIVE MENU APPEAR LIKE THE REST */ .main-nav .current-menu-item a, .main-nav .current-menu-item ul li a:hover { background-color: #000000 !important; color: #FFFFFF !important; } .main-nav .current-menu-item ul li a { background-color: #000000 !important; color: #FFFFFF !important; }
Of course this really just results in a black bar with white text and essentially no change to let people know where they're going, where they are or where they're about to go.
