Reduced freature width and small side content area. Best way?

Hey, what would be the best way to 1) reduce the width of the feature area, and then 2) have an area for text directly next to the feature on the right hand side with a bit of a margin. Would it be a sidebar or is there a better way? Thanks, John.

John, Please read through http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/12458/featured-slider-width-a-solution/p1 and implement changes accordingly in Dashboard > PlatformPro > Custom Code in the CSS Rules section. The best option is to place a sidebar with a text widget in which you may create anything or add any content you please.
