Theme update without loosing content?

Hey guys, I've bought the Station Pro Theme V.2 some month ago and now I recieved an email that the Station Pro version 3 is available and I just want to ask you if I can update the theme from V.2 to V.3 without loosing the content like the articles or the sites. I think if I will update the theme from v.2 to v.3 the content will be still there, or?

That is correct. The content (blog articles, pages, etc) is held in a database separate from all theme files and you will not lose them.

However, if you've manually editing header.php, footer.php or style.css for example that will be lost and overwritten. Always, back everything up before attempting an upgrade. Thanks, Bryan

Okay, thank you guys for the fast answers. I didn't edit some of the php datas manually and I'll buy the new version in a few days
