Need help, I am in process of moving my pagelines site from one server to another.. after the move my Website links are not working at all, not sure what should i do. i have tried the following 1. Have made sure .htaccess file is created, has 664 rights and has the rewrite rule 2. Done the Permalink reset 3. while moving the website from one location to another, i have also made the following change UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = "http://demo.thirkanatl.org" WHERE option_name = "home" OR option_name = "siteurl" 4. Also tried, creating new links to see if that works 5. Also, have deactivated all the plugins 5. restarted the apache server after each change.. but still see the broken links, not sure what can I do to fix it below are the links to websites http://thirkanatl.org (OLD, WORKING) http://demo.thirkanatl.org(NEW, NOT WORKING) pls guide

Change the CHMOD of .htaccess to 777, then update (without changing them - IMPORTANT) the permalinks by saving. Go back and CHMOD to 644 (not 664) after the save and check to see if your links work. This may not work for manually created links.

mod_rewrite may not be enabled.

Thank you very much, it was the mod_rewrite which was present but was not working, fix was to replaced AllowOverride None to AllowOverride ALL in httpd.conf http://lynnepope.net/check-if-mod_rewrite-enabled-on-server
