Are Posts Pages Better Known As Categories?

Recommended Posts

dainiswmichel

Hi, Right now, comments are not showing up on any of my pages. I've tried a few things mentioned on the forum, and nothing has worked yet. However, I was trying a few settings and am wondering if "Posts Pages" are categories? Best, dainis

What have you tried so far? Did you enable the comment form in Templates? Did you set them to hide in any of meta settings? Posts Pages are pages where any posts are displayed (this includes Archives pages, Category pages, and so forth).

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

tried: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/9896/comments-box-for-posts-not-showing/p1 dug around the forum. tried screen options -- what do you mean by enable, do you mean drag it onto the left column? -- where are the meat settings? i did not intentionally set to hide. best, dainis ps: i thought i posted on another thread. is there an easy way to find the threads i've contributed to, not just the ones i started?

It's actually better that you started your own thread since that thread was rather old and possible a different product. Which PageLines product are you using?

Thanks :) And yes, we have to ask! When you assume, that's when you get in trouble. hehe

oh, about needing to ask -- basically, i was relating it to the 2.0 upgrade, meaning that even 2 (even 20) years from now, it looks like pagelines will need to support 1.5.x versions -- along with whatever other versions are created in between. Regarding "Posts Pages," is that what wordpress calls them?

We will continue to provided support for legacy themes as well as releases important security updates. And yes, I believe that "posts pages" is a wordpress term.
