Navigation menu link hover

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to change the background when you hover over a page link in the main navigation menu. Currently, it highlights light gray and I'd like it to be transparent. I still want the text to hover black like it does, I just want to get rid of the background color. I've attempted various custom codes using background-color: none as well as background-color: transparent and I've searched Firebug to try to find the right code but I just can't find it. Here's my website: http://kristinealethaweddings.com/ Also, in the footer, the navigation links highlight with an underline. I found that code in Firebug: #footer li a:hover { text-decoration: underline; } What would I need to change in order to make the text black instead of underline it? Any help you can give would be much appreciated! Thank you!
.main-nav li a:hover { background-color: #ffffff !important; } #footer li a:hover { text-decoration: none !important; color: #000000 !important; }
Thanks for providing the firebug code. :) Makes things easier for sure!
