davecorp09 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 Okay, I figured out how to do it on the single posts, but how about on the homepage? Preferably I'd like it on the right side of my first excerpt...which also happens to be a sticky post.
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 Have you looked into the many plugins for this? From your WordPress admin, navigate to: Plugins > Add New and search for adsense and there should be plenty quality plugins to help. If you're unable to find a solution you like let me know and I'll try and come up with a custom solution for you. Thanks, Bryan
davecorp09 0 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 I've tried 4 plugins so far. Some work, some don't. The ones that work only work on the single posts but not on the homepage, category/tag pages...pretty much any page with excerpts. Any help would be appreciated. cmunns 16 Report post Posted June 8, 2010 I know many customers who have placed adsense directly into text widgets and this should work without problem, but here is more if you want to modify code. http://www.wordpressmax.com/wordpress-guide/add-adsense-wordpress http://www.wordpressmax.com/wordpress-guide/adsense-code-wordpress-theme
Claude203 12 Report post Posted August 22, 2010 You could also use AdRotate or Ad Rotator plugins effectively either inside of the Page/Post templates or in Text Widgets. Claude Johnson BlackFives.org
