WhiteHousePro new footer

I would my bottom footer to look like these sites: http://craig.ellrod.com/ http://www.joshuakennon.com/ Basically just a horizontal line of page links, with a copyright line below it, and maybe a terms link. I do not like the default columns that are on mine: http://www.100stepstobecomeamillionaire.com/ I have read this topic about the same issue: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic.php?id=1221 It suggests some pretty extensive changes to the footer code, and it applies to iBlogPro rather than WhiteHousePro, so I'm a bit scared to proceed. Is there any easier fix? It would be nice to be able to check a box to get this formatting, esp since the horizontal line formatting for copyright and page links is pretty standard across many websites. Thanks!

right, well the new footer is an attempt to give people more sitemap power with their footer, so they can keep their header more simple etc.. The old footer code (WHP2) was as follows: `

` you could try adding pieces of this back in and see what you get. We would love to accommodate everyone's preference on this, but that starts to become a daunting task

Thanks, Andrew. My only suggestion would be to allow the user to toggle back and forth between the two settings, but perhaps that is a coding nightmare. Thanks again.

I agree with Matt as I like the look of the previous layout. However, since I too am a little spooked by messing with the code, can you tell me specifically in what file and where in the file to place this code (in other words what am I replacing). I will make a backup of the old but am nervous messing with the code without specific instructions. Thanks
