resizing a feature slider

Recommended Posts

panda

I want to resize the feature slider to width: 960px;height:400px I've added this CSS, but it doesn't work.

#feature-area, .feature-wrap, #feature_slider #feature_slider .fcontent, #feature_slider .text-bottom .fmedia .dcol-pad, #feature_slider .text-bottom .feature-pad, #feature_slider .text-none .fmedia .dcol-pad {
 width: 960px;height:400px
	}

Any ideas? Thanks Panda

Since your site is already 960px wide, that's not necessary to change. On the page where you apply the feature slider you can change the PageLines Meta Settings for Features to a 400(px) height. At present, we do not have a global setting. Go to your static home page and scroll down. If you do not see PageLines Meta Settings, go to the top of your screen, look for a grey box "Screen Options" and check the box for PageLines Meta... and close by clicking the up arrow next to "Screen Options" again. Then, scroll down to that area, find the Features tab and change the height to 400. Save the settings. Make sure your image is 400px high or a black bar will appear top and bottom of the image (the background).

thanks, but there isn't a field for height. Here's a screen shot.

My apologies. I thought you had PageLines Framework. Go to Dashboard > PlatformPro > Feature Settings and scroll down to: Feature Area Height where the default is 330. Change it to 400. Save the settings by using one of the blue save buttons at the top or bottom of that settings page. Unfortunately, the PlatformPro settings are primarily global only, with little or no per page options, which is one of the key changes in PageLines Framework. All feature slides on your site would then be 960px by 400px throughout your site.

Err, sorry but that hasn't worked. I've set the Feature Area Height to 500px and it still looks like it's 330px. http://itriedturningitoffandonagain.net/
