Feature area obscuring hyperlinks in sidebar

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I sure hope someone can help we with this. I have used custom css to make the feature slider narrower, and move the sidebar up along the right hand side of the feature. I then inserted several hyperlinked buttons on the sidebar via the text widget. In IE, this is working beautifully. However in Chrome and FF, the hyperlinks will not work in the area that would NORMALLY be taken up by the feature slider. In other words, the invisible feature slider area appears to be "covering" my linked buttons so that they aren't clickable. The website in question is www(.)mnmdemo7(.)com. The following is all my custom css (I'm including it all just in case one of my settings is causing this to happen): .fixed_width #page, .fixed_width #footer, .canvas #page-canvas { width: 920px !important;} #feature_slider div.default-features {width: 627px;} #feature-area {width: 627px} .home #feature-footer {width: 627px;} .home #feature_slider{width:627px;} .home #feature-area, .feature-wrap {width: 627px;} .home #feature-footer {width: 627px;} #feature-footer.dots{width: 627px;} #feature_slider {width: 627px;} .home #sidebar-wrap{margin-top:-345px;} #branding .content-pad { padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; } .one-sidebar-right #pagelines_content #sidebar1, .one-sidebar-right #buddypress-page #sidebar1 { width: 270px;} body { font-size: 87.5%; line-height: 0px; } #sidebar1 { background: #32302d; height: 1000px; overflow: hidden; border: 8px solid #ffffff; } .one-sidebar-right #column-main .mcolumn-pad, .one-sidebar-right #container #content, .two-sidebar-right #column-main .mcolumn-pad, .two-sidebar-right #container #content { padding: 0 10px; } #page-canvas { margin: 0 auto; outline: 5px solid #b87a38; } #footer, .fixed_width #footer { text-shadow: 0 0 0 #000000; line-height: 16px; } #footer, #footer li.link-list a, #footer .latest_posts li .list-excerpt { color: #ffffff; } #footer { font-size: 1em; text-align: center; } #branding .content-pad { padding-bottom: 0; } #feature { margin: 0px 0px 0px 8px; } #page-main? .content { border-left: 0; border-right: 0; } Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there, this should fix it:
#sidebar-wrap{ position: relative; z-index: 100; }
