how to resize branding box / remove top padding

Recommended Posts

sgendry

My site is http://healinglaughter.org I am trying to do the following: 1) resize header. I don't understand how, but .branding_wrap {height: 75px;} works (my logo has a height of 90px) but only going downwards. There is a padding/margin of about 20px above the logo that remains there. How do I get rid of it? 2) insert gradient background full width #branding .content-pad { background:url(images/hgb.gif) repeat-x;} works, but how do I get that background image to go full width?

Hello, try these:
#branding .content-pad {padding-top: 0px !important; } #branding { background: url(images/hgb.gif) repeat-x; }
most excellent! I am very grateful. For my own benefit, how can I make the background image run all the way across the header? #branding { background: url(images/hgb.gif) repeat-x; } only displays it on the left and right of the main box (see http://healinglaughter.org/)

Hi Sgendry, Try adding this to your custom CSS:
#branding .content {background: transparent !important;}
