Edit Single Post Template

Recommended Posts

Hickory Computer

This is our site: http://s379140946.onlinehome.us/blueline_advantage-wp/welcome-to-our-new-site/ How do we edit template for this page? ie. We want to edit the feature slider to make it look like other pages. We are running PageLines 2.0. If this is a bug or something, what would be a good work around? Thanks for your help.

Hi, I'm not 100% sure what you meant by
"want to edit the feature slider to make it look like other pages."
Are you referring to the (1) the manual slide control on your home page; OR (2) slight drop in how the feature slide is displayed on your home page? If the issue is with (1), and if your home page is the blog page, you can control the Feature slider auto transition here: WP-Admin > Pagelines > Special > Blog Page > [Feature] set settings on this page like other page's feature slide settings and that should do the trick for removing manual slide transition buttons. As for (2), not sure. Paul

Here is a example of what I am talking about: if you look here: http://www.bluelineadvantage.com/welcome-to-our-new-site/ which is the single post page, the feature slider has the navigation buttons and its offset. if you look on any other page, such as here: http://www.bluelineadvantage.com/ It does not have the navigation and is not offset. We were able to turn off the navigation on all the other pages by going to the feature settings for each page (under pages>Features under meta settings) But there is no setting for the single post page, Where can I turn off the Navigation & What is your opinion on why the slider is offset? Thanks, Russell

If you want to hide the navigation for a slider on a specific page (the single post page in this case), you'll need to add CSS. Also, I'm not sure why the slider appears offset. Do you have any custom CSS right now?
