Need Navigtion CSS help

http://www.dps.state.ms.us.php5-25.dfw1-2.websitetestlink.com/firearms/firearms-permit-unit/ I need my top level menu items to remain with a white bg and charcoal type color on rollover. Initially it does this, but when you mouse over the children, it reverts back to a style that I simply cannot find. Even in firebug it is a nightmare to isolate. There can be 5-8 classes on this element alone and it is very confusing. Also, the current page menus behave differently than the rest of the menu items Can someone please help me find the selectors that i need?

I found this in pagelines-template-theme/style.css:
.main_nav ul li ul li a:hover { background: url(../pagelines/images/fs_submenu_list_graphic.png) no-repeat scroll transparent; color: black; background-color: gold!important; }
With the !important for the gold color, that may be why you can't change it in Custom Code. Does this help?

No, affecting this didnt change anything. I am really struggling trying to find the selector of the top level menu item, but when mousing over its children.

I found it. The class "sfHover" is sort of elusive. I would kill for a detailed list of the css selectors related to the menu.
