How to add ShareBar section to pages

Recommended Posts

It's obvious how to turn this on/off for posts, but any ideas how to turn the same ShareBar section for pages (it's stated in its description in the Pagelines Store that this section "...adds ways to share content on pages/single posts".

Visit Template -> Content Area. Then select your page type and drag the Sharebar over to activate it.

Hm, it's so obvious once someone points it out :) However I never thought checking 'Content area' because it looks like an option to switch between layouts. I guess I'm just new to the system.

Hi, The 'Content Area' is part of the Page template. For example: any section that is placed within the content area will be inside the content area for that template. Check my image below, it should help you understand what you can do with the 'Content Area'. http://i.imgur.com/LAupe.png As you can see, all the active sections are wrapped within the content area and therefore there is no need to add a negative margin to the sidebar(s) any more like you had to do in Platform Pro.

Please search our forums, before posting!
