Developing one layout for my home page and one layout for all other pages?

The following is being asked while being new to WordPress, and using the new PageLines 2.0. How can I make the home page with one design and all of the other pages with another design? It is my intention to develop my site with a: - Home Page (Brand, Features, Nav, Boxes, Newest Posts, and Footers - in that order) - Core Pages (Brand Nav, Banner - maybe, Text Box, Footers - in that order)

Make the different sections hidden by default and show them on a page to page basis. In other words, do a universal design and then use that to created different pages and then turn on/off the sections that you don't want to be shown on a certain page.
