How to create a new sidebar feature?

Recommended Posts

Hi, We would like to create another sidebar in the 'feature' section, where we can place widgets in. Is this possible?

Do you mean you want to add widgets to a feature slider OR, do you mean you want added sidebars on a feature page? Can you provide a link and explain further? Thanks.

For example, there are two sidebars displaying right now on the 'example page' which are available to slide into that page: One of them is active ('Universal Sidebar) and the other is non-active ('Full width sidebar). Because we've got a lot of widgets, which we would like order via the 'feature page' we want to create another 'sidebar name x feature'. Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/4lniy

http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/15787/custom-templates-and-custom-sidebar-sections#Item_9 OKay. Scroll down. Follow the procedure but instead of "duplicating" the primary sidebar, try the universal sidebar. I can help you more if you need it.

Hi Lounge, if you can provide more detailed information regarding why it did not work, Pageline folks can assist you. For example, which code did you paste in to which php file and what was the result? Do you think a screen shot will explain better? If so, take the screen shot and upload it to place like http://imgur.com and paste the link marked 'BBCode (message board)' to your post and everyone can see.
