You will need to edit the pagelines-customize/functions.php with the following code:
function my_image_sizes($html){ $height = 200; $width = 200; $html = preg_replace( '/width="([0-9]+)"/', sprintf( 'width="%s"', $width ), $html ); $html = preg_replace( '/height="([0-9]+)"/', sprintf( 'height="%s"', $height ), $html ); return $html; } add_filter('post_thumbnail_html','my_image_sizes',10,1);
Change the height and width to the size you want. You need to make sure that you CHMOD to 777 the following file: wp-content/plugins/pagelines-customize/functions.php. Then, visit Dashboard > Plugins > Editor and from the drop down list, select Pagelines Customize and from the right side list, select pagelines-customize/functions.php. Just add the code above to the end and save. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Dear "rangelone" I followed the steps and I probably would not be properly edited pagelines-customize/functions.php because after editing is kept inactive. You can write me the complete code including if necessary, "

Now I accidentally "accepted" your answer. Oops. You still need assistance with writing the code, yes?

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Batman, if it makes you feel any better, I'm 2 years older than you. As I mentioned, in order to edit the functions.php, you need to visit the site with an FTP program and change the permissions of the file (CHMOD) to 777. Your web hosting company may be able to help with this if you cannot do that. There's no

Dear Rangelone, I feel much better now, the problem is that I am an architect trying to learn PHP. My CHMOD is 777 and I have the blue button, but my pagelines-customize/functions.php remains inactive, even though my pagelines-customize/pagelines-customize.php still active. No problem as it is a test blog so take your time. I attached a screenshot of the modification of the plugin. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-m3ILbmky010/TuSrOoovWlI/AAAAAAAAC9E/xApyoGf4v5I/s800/Captura%252520de%252520pantalla%2525202011-12-11%252520a%252520las%25252010.06.50.jpg https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-YPIQzfm0wYw/TuSrPgpKA6I/AAAAAAAAC9M/LMwD0QVR7kI/s800/Captura%252520de%252520pantalla%2525202011-12-11%252520a%252520las%25252010.09.47.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-s6GOxU40erU/TuSrPorNwQI/AAAAAAAAC9Q/eVyLLnGG5aQ/s681/Captura%252520de%252520pantalla%2525202011-12-11%252520a%252520las%25252010.08.56.jpg Thanks Carlos

Carlos, I'm an economist and management consultant. So don't worry about anything. We are both on a learning curve. So far, you're doing fine. See below: 1. Don't worry about the (inactive) part as it's only referring to the selection in your drop down list where you selected the PageLines Customize plugin. It does not mean that the plugin is inactive. Everyone thinks that, even well experienced programmers. It scared me too when I first saw that. 2. Directly below the part marked 2, you see
/* // ==================================================== // = YOUR FUNCTIONS - Where you should add your code = // ==================================================== */
Your code is simply pasted there, right below */. Then all you have to do is click the blue button to save it and you're done with coding. For security, FTP again and change the CHMOD of the files to 644. I promise it's very, very easy!

I have everything as the instructions but did not change the size of thunmbail. You can see the first image of the previous comment, so I thought that does not work for "inactive". I disabled all plugins and deleted all the "custom code" also to prove. Thanks for your patience and for reminding me change the CHMOD of the files to 644.

Carlos, I just noticed that you do have 150px x 150px images aligned with the excerpt as well as a smaller image aligned with the title. I think WordPress may be limiting your thumbnail to 150px square as a maximum size for thumbnails. I mention this because no matter what size your original image is, WordPress converts the thumbnail to 150px in size. I think the critical thing now will be to mask the smaller one and hide it. We might be able to do this with CSS. Let me look into that. By the way, looking at it now, if your thumbnail were 200px wide, it would make the excerpt too small. The size is just right at 150px.

Carlos, In Dashboard > PageLines > Custom Code there is a section called CSS Rules. This one is for Pagelines 2.0. Please copy the following code and pace it there:
.post-thumb { width: 100px !important; }
as submitted by Simon, our developer. And if you decide to stick with PlatformPro, use this instead
.post-excerpt .wp-post-image { width: 100px; height: 100px; }
Wonderful. Now you know how to do anything "technical" on your site. Tomorrow I imagine you will be designing lots of new, big websites! :)

Hi Rangelone, thanks. I used that code to adjust the size of my thumbnails; however, it only adjusted the size of the thumbnails in the clip excerpt mode ... I would also like to adjust the size of the thumbnails in the feature post, full-width excerpts (i am using magazine layout) Any help? AB www.eveningsends.com
