Nav Background image problem

Recommended Posts

davebaileymail

I want to have a background image in the main nav bar. The code I am using shows the image, but it is behind the background color of the menu. I need to make the menu transparent so the image shows up. I am using the following code... #nav_row{ background:url(http://www.elkoeventplanner.com/Bailey/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/cloud.jpg)no-repeat} #primary-nav ul.sf-menu li{background:none} Also, I need to find a code to make the background change to a color when hovering. Thanks in advance for any help! PS. I have placed this code in the "Custom CSS" section.

Okay... the following code seems to have worked... #nav_row{ background:url(http://www.elkoeventplanner.com/Bailey/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/cloud.jpg)no-repeat} .sf-menu li, #primary-nav ul.sf-menu a:focus, .sf-menu a:hover, .sf-menu a:active {background:transparent!important;} Only problem now is I cant seem to change the nav text color, and hover color?
