URGENT - Security issue - no access to site

Hi, Despite being promised that the server I would be working on would have php5, it doesnt and now I cannot get a site that's got to be done by TODAY (I'm going on holiday) I'm getting: Sorry, but you don??™t have the administrative privileges needed to do this. I need to remove this ASAP!!!! Is there anyway to get rid of this message and let people see the site? you cant even see the home page. I've got no access to the admin panel if I log out because the ?activated=true trick is not working (and I'm not sure what I can do to make that a permanent fix as it is). REALLY DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP!! Thanks Laura

If the host doesn't support PHP5, then your next step is to ask them to assist you in setting up a php.ini file. You need to specifically ask them to assist you with this because every host is different and might have different restrictions. Do you not have FTP access? I would backup all folders and files AND backup the database, again, depending on what web hosting you use, they'll probably have specific instructions for you. After you back everything up, remove the files from the server, if the site is completely broken anyways, then just temporarily remove it, if your host can accommodate you with the PHP5 situation, then put it back up. If not I would recommend you consider moving your site to a new host. You might want to do a Google search for: "web hosting best vs worst" - I recommend finding something that is on a Linux server and 100% for sure completely supports PHP5. Thanks, Bryan
