Is there a way to insert different sidebar content on individual pages?

Could you for instance have text on one page, banners on another, etc? How?

You can determine which sidebars appear and hide on individual pages using the PageLines Section Control.

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Sorry, I'm not seeing Section Control in the PlatformPro Settings. Where would I look for it?

I'm aware of the check boxes, which leave the sidebar space blank or not, but how do you vary the content? Is that somehow in the Template dropdown under Page Attributes?

To have more control over widgets in your sidebars, you should check out this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/dynamic-widgets/

Yes that looks like it might be a good plugin, but it comes with no instructions and the FAQ's don't seem to address what I want to do - what would be my next step other than asking the developer where to begin? What I have in mind is to place banner ads in sidebars in posts, testimonials in sidebars of pages - is there any reason not to do that?

Hi, This is a limitation of Wordpress and annoying at that. There is a plug-in called Widget Logic. This widget allows you to display widgets on certain pages. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/

Please search our forums, before posting!
