translate platform pro

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am trying to translate the pp theme with poedit using the po and mo files located at the themes/platformpro/language folder. Where should I place the translated po and mo files? In the wordpress/languages folder? Or should I copy the folder into the base folder? Actually, I have tried al those options, but I can't get it to work. I have set the define ('WPLANG', 'nl_NL'); in the wp-config file. Is there anything else I am missing? I already translated other plugins this way. Thanks!

They go in either the platformbase/languages or platformpro/languages folder. The base folder is checked 1st.

Ok. The po and mo files are in the platformbase/language folder. I've configurated the wp-config file. Are there any other settings I should look for? Maybe inside platform pro?

Hi Jbrouwer, I don't think there is, you should be good to go! However, I've never had the need to translate before.

Please search our forums, before posting!

Strange. Maybe the stuff I want to translate is not attached to the theme... For example, the word "search" in the search form of the header, is that attached to the theme? Or "Search results for" on the search results page. Thx.

Its possible those aren't attached to the theme, and are wordpress terms. Have you tried WPML?
