Show Soapboxes on front page only?

Recommended Posts

mgwaters

I would like to display the soapbox (actually just the boxes) on my front page only. Currently, I have placed the "soapboxes" in the header template via the Platform Pro > template setup > header. My options at this point for the advanced setup for the soapboxes are "Hide this by default" or "hide on Post pages". Selecting either one of these hides the soapbox on my front page. Currently my Front page displays "latest posts" which I set in my WP Dashboard > Settings > Reading Is there a way to display the soapboxes on the front page but hide it everywhere else? I obviously do not want to have to hide the soapboxes each time I make a "post" entry nor do I want to show it on any "pages". I tried to search for this issue here in the forum but didn't find anything similar. Any suggestions?

Hi, you can use CSS to hide things, and page-specific classes in the body tag to apply CSS only to certain pages.
#soapbox { display: none } .home #soapbox { display: block }
Excellent. That should work nicely. Thank you!
