Recommended Posts

Hi, Whenever I load jqeury from the Google libraries (via the 'use google libraries' plugin) in breaks down the drop down funtionality of the main menu in the header. What could be the issue here? www.pepperbase.com Thanks.

If you look at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/use-google-libraries/ and actually read the critical parts of the page, you will see that the plugin "Use Google Libraries" is not compatible with Wordpress 3.2.1 and that 2 people have reported it as broken. The plugin is apparently going to have conflicts with your site. So, you need to find a suitable alternative.

Ok thanks! Missed that one... I also tried the following code: add_action('init', 'load_google_jquery'); function load_google_jquery() { if (!is_admin()) { wp_deregister_script('jquery'); wp_register_script('jquery', 'http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.0/jquery.min.js', false, '1.7.0'); wp_enqueue_script('jquery'); } } Gives the same problem with the nav-menu. Is there any script of PP which depends on jqeury and should be included in the dependency part of the function?

From my knowledge there is superfish but I'm not sure if it should be included in the dependency part of the function.

Seems it has something to do with the W3TC minify settings. I will have a closer look at that one. Thanks.
