I know it is possible to limit boxes to 2 per row and list down a page. The problem I am having is how to make sure that the sidebar lines up with the top two boxes so that it is like the 3rd row. Where can I find the override for the CSS? I considered using the layout editor to do this but it only allows manipulation of the content area. There is no section override for this on the page and there are no universal settings in the Pagelines menu nor box specific settings that address this under the box section or soap box area. Am I missing something? Please Help!

The bit missing is that boxes don't work next to sidebars. However, don't let that get you down. There are several options. There are three plugins - Boxer, Easy Columns and DivUp Content. Any of them will allow you to achieve the same effects as boxes and perhaps with a bit more control. You may add shortcodes or content or links to the spaces they create in lieu of boxes. As these plugins allow you to place "boxes", "columns" or "divs" inside the content area (respectively), you have the capacity to keep your normal sidebars.

Many have tried. I don't know of any who've succeeded. But the plugins I suggested work very well and afford you the opportunity to achieve the exact result you desire.
