garyroskin 4 Report post Posted November 18, 2011 I have re-uploaded WordPress and Pagelines Pro but that didn't fix the problem. I now have 6 different plug-in programs that have been "installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template." I've read a few posts about "files" "folders" and "FTPs" but I really need someone who can walk me thru this .... I've been to the GoDaddy FTP site and I don't even see PlatformPro anywhere - although I've been using it for 9 weeks! And I see a bunch of Word Press folders - many of which look like duplicates or even triplicates. Is anyone able to at least point me in a good direction here, please?? Please.... THANKS! garyroskin 4 Report post Posted November 18, 2011 Hi again ... maybe these two things are related (the Front Pagelines Features Sliders, and this broken theme, stylesheet thing...) I physically went into teh FTP site and moved all of the old WP folders to an archive, and then uploaded WP through Go Daddy, and Pagelines through the WP Themes link ... which saved it to my harddrive as several zip folders. I then used WP to unzip them and it then is supposed to upload it to teh FTP site, yes? I see a couple of the Pagelines themes.. that 21 thing is there. (please note my use of non-technical language, since I don't really know much about this stuff. I was kinda thrown into this when my webmaster suddenly died 2 months ago and I needed to rebuild my website. Thansk again Catrina for whatever help you can give me. catrina 103 Report post Posted November 18, 2011 When you say that uploading PageLines through the WP link saved it to your hard drive as several zip folders, what do you mean exactly (this could be where the issue is)? To install the theme properly, you need to follow these instructions: http://www.pagelines.com/docs/theme-installation. Also, when you used WP to unzip them, what happened exactly? From my knowledge, you must unzip files yourself before you upload them to WP manually. Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. garyroskin 4 Report post Posted November 18, 2011 Well, there's a Download folder in my Documents folder and whenever I download anything, it gets saved there. That's where all of teh Pagelines folders are located. Now when you upload a Theme to WP, you browse and find teh zip folder in my Downloads folder, click on that, and then WP takes over from there and installs the Theme. So I have PlatformPro installed into WP and I've been using PlatformPro to create the website... but when I try to add any other themes or plugins (other than MeteorSlides) I get that Stylesheet msg. So I'm trying to add SEO to my site and can't do that. I tried to add Fonts and stuff like that, and can't do that.... so after noodling around trying to find clear answers to all of this, I thought I should ask. Does that make sense? garyroskin 4 Report post Posted November 18, 2011 Probably .... I bought it, I think they sent a link, I then downloaded the files to my downloads folder .... PlatformProDevCS3, PlatformProDev.eps, platformpro_dev, platformbase, forumplugins, and platformforum.... then went to this WP Themes page, clicked on Install, broused to get to one of the Pagelines files, and voila!
