Your custom CSS is a bit off. Change:
#site .content, .wcontent, #primary-nav ul.main-nav.nosearch { background-color: #FFFFFF; border: 1px solid #000000; opacity: 0.95; padding: 5px; width: 1112px; }
to:
#site .content, .wcontent, #primary-nav ul.main-nav.nosearch { background-color: #FFFFFF; border: 0 solid #000000; border-bottom: 1px solid #000000; opacity: 0.95; padding: 5px; width: 1112px; }
That still seems to leave a border above the navigation but removes the border round the edge of the site which i would like to keep

This should take out the top border:
#primary-nav .content { border: none; }
Sometimes its a problem to set a border for the 'content' class as you have, since that class is used in many different places in the site, it would be better to set that border more specifically, for example,
#sidebar_universal .content
The one on top of the nav got removed, the one remaining is the bottom border of the .content div in the universal sidebar. Try this:
#sidebar_universal .content{ border-bottom: none; }
Hi, Can you try this please:
#sidebar_universal .content { border-bottom: medium none blue; } #primary-nav .content { border-bottom: 0 none !important; }
Please add this to Custom Code:
#sidebar_universal div.content {border: 0px;}
