"Page Canvas Background Color and Page" and "Tertiary Text Color" in same color

Recommended Posts

Dear Pageslines Team, I want to have a white canvas background on my website. I want to have a white navigation for the active site and a red navigation for the non active sites. The problem is: When I change the "Tertiary Text Color" to white.. the active site navigation looks fine but the other text navigation is invisble (white on white). (Screenshot: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/14/bildschirmfoto20111117u.png/ (right to "Prepage" there are other navigation links for the inactive sites..). kind regards Max

Max, It always helps us to see the site so we can guide you to the best solution. You can try
ul#menu-main.main-nav a, ul#menu-main.main-nav a:active {color: #ffffff;}
Or, if that doesn't work, try this:
#primary-nav .main-nav li a, #primary-nav .main-nav li a:hover {color: #ffffff;}
Place them in Custom Code in CSS Rules. Don't forget to Save!

You shouldn't have the tertiary color as white if you have white text. It would be like looking for snow in the Arctic. You need a darker tertiary color like a grey or silver tone or something that coordinates with your site or, you need to change the font color. You can see some examples of menus, menu colors and CSS (view page source) on this site: http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/

Hi rangelone, thanks for your answer. I tried both codes. The first one had no effect. The second one changed all the navigation links in the header to white. This is my website: http://www.deinterrarium.de/ I just want to get "Prepage" in white. (always the navigation link for the one page which is opened at the moment should be in white, while the other navigation links are still orange). kind regards Max
