I need a "coach" to help me add an rss feed option to this page on our non-profit website: wccaucus.org/cloeli I have gotten lost in the Platform Pro options and whether you add it to the Page, or the Template, or Appearance...or wherever!

If you want an RSS feed, go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and you will find widget for RSS there. Place it in your sidebar or in one of the footer sidebars. If you prefer to have the RSS feed in the body of your site, let me know as there are several options available to you.

I can accept this answer but I'm concerned that when I do, folks often drop the second line of discussion: therefore, I am interested in, as you say, "If you prefer to have the RSS feed in the body of your site, let me know as there are several options available to you." I'll accept if you'll write back!

There are many plugins that make it easy for you to place your feed icon on the sidebar or on the footer. Some examples are these two: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ultimate-follow-me/screenshots/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/subscription-options/screenshots/

This is the one I recommend: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/rss-import/ It allows you to place multiple RSS feeds on a page or post using shortcodes. You can also get RSS by category with it.

Sorry rangelone, the webpage for that plugin reads: "This Project was discontinued. If an coder will develop this plugin, please send me an mail." and that makes me have little confidence in it. Also, I need some step-by-step instructions, and the page says that it is php or shortcode, and I need more information about how to add that successfully.

Ok. I think I misunderstood you. I thought you want links to your OWN feed in the sidebar or the footer. But now I understand you want to show posts from another sire using their RSS. Here what you need to do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUu6RBiZKgo
