Changing the height of the Universal Sidebar and Full Width Sidebar

Hey All, I am trying to use the Universal Sidebar and FW Sidebar to implement a 'subscribe' banner in my site. My issue is that I only want my banner to be 80px high, and by default, the sidebars are set to 140px high. The result is a lot of 'white space' under the banner. Assuming this is a CSS override, but I'm not familiar with how to execute, so your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Josh

Hey Josh, Do you have a link to your site, please? Off the top of my head, I don't remember the sidebars having a min-height set. Thanks!

HI Kate, The site I am working on is: www.nazarenesabroad.com Right now, I have the FullWidth Sidebar located under the Feature section, with a could elements in there as a place-holder. Thanks! Josh

Josh, It appears to me that the height is actually being set by the iframe, not by the sidebar. The question is, why that method to get social icon links there? There has to be an easier method to include social icons above the content area than iframes and tables. Your table styling is not done correctly, which A. cuts the top of the green button off; B. Fails to factor in the padding that is inherent in tables in WP; C. doesn't align, space, pad or margin the individual cells. In fact, there are a couple of tables present and I think that's part of your problem. The sidebar itself, per our developer, has no specific height. Other than padding, the whole thing is occupied by iframe and tables. I'd suggest you inspect it with Firebug for Firefox to see the problems.
