ilonka65 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2011 Sorry for all my questions, I am trying to this test site ready to show my client tomorrow and usinga Framework is a bit harder than I thought it would be:( I notice that the "fboxgraphic" is nested within "dcol-pad top_thumbs", but I don't understand how to remove the padding so my image can take up the same width as the text underneath http://byronbaysmashrepairs.com.au/test/ Maybe you can include a link of where I should go to learn CSS so I can stop asking so many questions, sorry! ilonka65 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2011 I was hoping something like this would work, and that maybe at least I am on the right track?: #dcol-pad top_thumbs, .fbox_11, .fbox_10, .fbox_9, fboxgraphic {padding: display:none;} Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
catrina 103 Report post Posted November 13, 2011 The padding property in CSS should only using pixel values (i.e. 2px, 3px, etc.) so the code should look like this:
padding: 0px;
Instead of using display: none; replace it with a number value. There are more instructions on how to use padding here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_padding.asp Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. ilonka65 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2011 Hi Catrina I tried this and it didn't work: #dcol-pad top_thumbs, .fbox_11, .fbox_10, .fbox_9, fboxgraphic {padding: 0px;} Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ilonka65 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2011 I tried this aswell: #content-pad, .dcol_container_3, .dcol-pad top_thumbs, .fbox_11, .fbox_10, .fbox_9, fboxgraphic {padding: 0px;} I tried this because I thought ultimately everything is nested in the content pad.....I have a colleague telling me CSS is easy, but its not from where I stand at the moment :-? ilonka65 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2011 I tried this: #boxes, .fboxgraphic {padding-top:0px; padding-bottom:0px; padding-right:0px; padding-left:0px;} Still nothing...is it possible its the style of how it sits within the fboxgraphic area and not caused by padding, but a different rule? Jenny 33 Report post Posted November 14, 2011 Rather than adjusting it by CSS, you should adjust your PlatformPro settings. What you are trying to edit with CSS, can be done in PlatformPro -> Box Settings -> Default Box Icon Size. Set it to the width that you want. The image you have uploaded is 349px wide. You should either set this number to 349 or something smaller. To make things uniform, make sure all of your box images are the same width. ♥ Jenny :: Web designer at Simple Mama (follow me at @simplemamacom) Check out Share Me, a social sharing add-on for DMS that is super simple to set up.
