I'm not very happy at all that all my images that I've been uploading seem to have automatically included pagelies into the title...how can I turn this off? And is there anything else I should be aware of?!

Which images are you referring to specifically? Are you referring to tool tip/mouseover titles or the file names themselves?

Normal images uploaded via the normal WordPress uploader are never touched. Only images in the PageLines admin (like logo, icons, box images, etc.) are renamed.

It's done to distinguish the images needed for the titles, headers, backgrounds, etc.) to ensure they are never overridden by a user who may be able to post to your site. If a user were to post an image called "title.jpg" and that were your header image, then the user-submitted version would appear where your brand logo might be. Could be rather awkward. By placing the Pagelines- in front of your title name, we protect the image you want in critical areas and ensure your site always remains as you want it.

Hello rangelone, but this is SEO relevant! My blog is tagged via the so renamed pictures with pagelines. I work with naming pictures to enhance SEO. So please tell me how I can exchange "pagelines" with my own in front or how I can stop pictures to be renamed. Thank you! Hannes
