Tang 3 Report post Posted May 20, 2010 before installing iBlogPro4 over iBlogPro3 I would like to know, if I can keep my ?»old?« navigation-color (lighter grey) and the old icons like RSS etc.? In the blog you are talking about the new changes like: new darker nav and added hexidecimal color options for iBlogPro4. Havent seen a screenshot for this in the Demo. bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted May 21, 2010 Before upgrading it's always recommended that you backup everything, files and database. Now, if you haven't manually edited any of the files, and all your custom CSS is placed in the theme options "Custom CSS" you should be fine, but it's easy to forget every change you've ever made. Generally, any setting you've customized will be saved to the db and safe, however, if you've for example edited header.php, that file will be overwritten and you will lose your changes, so again, back everything up. Tang 3 Report post Posted May 21, 2010 Thank you Bryan, I will follow that. Still - there is a new navigation bar in iBlogPro4 with darker grey-color by default compared to iBlogPro3 - as mentioned. Do I have to costomize backwards and reload the old nav-??¦png's of iBlogPro3 or is that a switchable option? I know how to do it, but it would be great, if this option would be part of what is announced as ?»color-options?« in iBlogPro4.
cmunns 16 Report post Posted May 21, 2010 Tang, There is no option since we switched the default to a darker tone. Having two similar colors as options seemed overdone that's why we didn't include it. Best,
