Menu too long and saving it hangs up

Hope you can help, I have more or less 100 pages in my Platform Pro menu (please improve drag&drop). Unfortunately saving the men?? hangs up the page, it take too long. I already changed server after installing Platform Pro (very greedy in memory usage). This is the only problem (page is nav-menus.php web site is www.deodato-arte.it). thanks for any help!

Are you more concerned with the items being expansive in the drop down menus or the navigation menu itself taking over three lines in the header? Would it be possible to combine 2 parent menu items (i.e. 900 Artists and 7 Artists - 800?)

deodato - I think I know what you are referring to. I had this same problem. However, I actually had to go into my PHP settings and change the Memory limit to be 60 seconds, rather than 30 seconds. 30 seconds was the default setting with Hostgator, the provider I am using. My site has 120+ menu items. As soon as I changed that setting, everything worked.
