yngvenor 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2011 In Opera, there is a lot of empty space between the content area and the boxes (and between the navigation bar and the content area). It looks really ugly (http://www.godtsprak.no/kunder/). Is there a fix for this?
Rob 547 Report post Posted November 1, 2011 I normally do not use Opera, but just looked at your site in the latest version. It doesn't look any different than it does in Firefox with no extra padding that I can determine. Each browser will have small variances in widths and structure that make it appear different. But in this case, it looks almost exactly identical. Same thing with Google Chrome and IE9. Because the text in the boxes is not right justified, it is not stretching to the edge of each box, which may give the appearance of greater blank space between unbordered boxes. If your boxes were bordered, I believe you would see even spacing among the browsers. You may also wish to check the view scale in your Opera browser to make sure it is at 100%. yngvenor 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2011 Thank you. I checked the settings, and it turns out that the browser was set to use not the site??™s stylesheet, but the user??™s. This must be a default setting in Opera (which is weird), since I have never chosen this.
