Can you control the feature loop function?

It is possible to turn off the loop of a feature so it just plays once? Also, can different features have different loop settings?

You can stop the feature sliders from automatically playing by setting the Feature Viewing Time (Timeout) to zero or blank, along with Feature Transition Time (Timeout). However, I don't believe you can set different features to transition at different times. There may be other sliders you can use in place of ours that have this option. I'd suggest shopping a bit for some at http://www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins

That wasn't exactly my question: I want the slides to play from beginning to end, but NOT loop. Is this possible.

When they play they loop. Every slider I've ever seen does the exact same thing. If you want the looping to stop, you just stop the timing or stop them from playing altogether. There's no in-between here.

As a musician, there should be a way to play the darn thing without looping. How simplistic!

Unfortunately sliders are not mp3's or CD's and can't be made to play with or without looping as we may like. Since all sliders operate on the same fundamental, perhaps you need a different option there. Have you tried searching for a gallery script or a carousel at http://www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins ?

Thanks, Just seems like it shouldn't be so difficult to do such a simple thing. I'll check for plugins.

The slider is base on jquery cycle. So theoretically anything that cycle can do you could wrangle the feature slider to do. It does require coding in the backend though, as rangelone said, its not a feature built-in.
