Where is the section control area?

I am running Platform Pro 1.5.3. I see in the video tutorial that I can use the "default" page for a simple content page, say, the about us page. I can then use section control to ensure the slider and boxes don't show. I don't see that section control area anywhere. can you help?

Click on Pages and then click on one of your page titles to edit that page. It should be over on the right sidebar below Page Attributes. If you don't see it go to the top of the page and click Screen Options. Here you have the option of which sections to show on your edits screen . Check the box if it is not checked.
