AdSense Banner display position

Recommended Posts

vgadgets

Hi there, I just purchased the PlatformPro in the hopes that my frustrations would be less but I am still having an issue with the placement of my AdSense Banner. Specifically I would like it to display beside the logo and I would like the social buttons to display underneath. Hoping that someone can assist! Thanks, Jason

I recommend downloading Firebug (www.getfirebug.com). You will be able to see the code of your page in a live view and make CSS changes to see how they look. Use the following code in your custom CSS:
div.leaderboard { margin-top: -135px; }
Change the number as necessary to move the ad up or down.

Thanks Jenny - I'll take a look and plow through... Its been a while since I've edited CSS and from what I saw of that CSS file it looks huge! I did download firebug and that looks like it could be useful as well.. I appreciate your help! Jason http://vancouvergadgets.ca

When using Firebug, just right click the section you're interested in editing and select "inspect element." It will show you somewhere in that section. You can then move your mouse around in the html view and you'll see different sections highlight on the page. Clicking a section in HTML shows the CSS on the right. :) Glad you got it to work!
