Add Google Analytics Instructions

Maybe you or someone can help me. I have the google analytics code where it needs to be. It was working great and I don't know what I did to change this but now for some reason it isn't working. Google analytics shows that it is "receiving data" but it doesn't show any visitors. I know this isn't true - I have a new site but I know for fact that I do have a few visitors. I don't know exactly when it all started... I know at one time I had hit the reset to default on my platform pro settings - thinking it was just going to change that one setting but it changed everything and I didn't notice this for a day or so. In the meantime I know I installed plugins and stuff so maybe I'm having incompatibility issues or something. I think I even upgraded to the latest wordpress 3.0.5. Anyone have any ideas on this problem?

Hi There, Where do I put the code for google analytics in Platform Pro? I'd rather just install the code myself rather than use a plugin. Thanks!

Good afternoon, I have google analytics scripting entered in the header tag of my other subdomain blogs, with no problem. Platform pro responds with a scripting error and brings the site down when it is added to the header.php file before the tag. When I add the code, the code visibly displays on the website, upper left corner, which I find particularly unattractive. Sites involved are parceledgardens.com (multi-site), analyticallyspeaking.com and blog.azartisan.com. How can I add the code without bringing the site down or without making everyone privy to my analytics code? Thanks, Jan

Why don't you just add the javascript code to Custom Code -> Header Scripts ?

I ended up using an analytics plugin to take care of this, since the theme didn't seem to resolve this issue on it's own.
