Carousel & Boxes

I would like to know if I can have a carousel point to boxes on a page. I have a bunch of boxes that are grouped together by topic on separate pages and would like to use a carousel to be able to sort the boxes that are displayed on a page. For example, Click on one carousel image of a famous person, to see all the quotes by that person, on the page that is defined by boxes of all of the famous quotes from say Oprah Winfrey. The idea is to use the carousel as a visual way to go to another page that has boxes (and not posts). I am not sure how to go about doing this. thanks.

You need to: 1. Create different categories for boxes. 2. Create several pages, apply "box" template to them, and choose different categories of boxes to be shown on every one of them. 3. I understand up to point 3 and this is where it gets complicated. I really don't want to modify the code of PlatformPro. It is beyond my expertise. Is there an alternative?

I don't know of alternatives, but as long as you have PlatformBase as your active theme, you don't have much to worry about. The final response in that post has all the code you need. Just make sure you don't edit PlatformPro files. Activate PlatformBase and use/edit only PlatformBase.
