sndev 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2010 first of all I have iblogpro v3. second of all, i love this theme^_^. i am building a homepage which i used the "Feature Page full with content" template. can anyone help with how i would be able to add the feature boxes in like in the image above. i also want totally remove the "look for something?" "visit our friends" and "archive" boxes. thanks!
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted May 15, 2010 For the homepage feature, from your WordPress Admin, you need to navigate to: iBlogPro > Feature Setup and create/style it manually. To hide the bottom boxes simply go to: iBlogPro > Theme Options > Custom Code > Custom CSS and paste in and save: #morefoot{display:none} Thanks, Bryan
sndev 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2010 Bryan thanks for your reply, I was able to hide the boxes however not I wasn't able to add the feature boxes like the image i posted above. In feature setup the feature boxes are already set. Is there a short code to call them? Currently in the section where the feature boxes are suppose to be showing on the page it displays "Home", the title of the page I created instead of the feature boxes. I hope you understand what I am trying to say and thanks again.
Andrew 207 Report post Posted May 16, 2010 So you want both the feature boxes and the page content? did you select the on page option to "show feature boxes"?
sndev 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2010 on the edit page options i actually do not see that checkbox. i only see stuff like Show Flow Sidebar, Show Drag and Drop Side Bar, Show Accordion Sidebar, Show Content Sidebar, no "Show Feature Boxes"

cmunns 16 Report post Posted May 18, 2010 Are you not interested in upgrading?
sndev 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2010 Upgrades are free right? If not, can you just show me how in v3 also would it affect any plugins or custom layouts that I already have?
bryan-hadaway 3 Report post Posted May 20, 2010 Upgrades to the version you purchased are free. If you purchased v2.0, then you would receive v2.1, v2.2 and so on for free, but not completely new versions; v3, v4 and so on. I recommend completely backing up all your files and db before upgrading, depending on how many custom edits you've made, any number of problems can occur with an upgrade. The biggest problem when upgrading is say for example you edited header.php, well if you upgrade everything in header.php will be overwritten with the new one and all your changes will be undone.
