Hi, Would it be possible to post a link to your site please? Also when editing/creating a post, if you scroll down you should see something similar to this: Have you dragged the Universal Sidebar section over to the Single Post Content Area template? If you're using the Universal sidebar, there should be an option there (its on my screenshot), for you to tick/untick. Have you tried this ?

Yes, I have tried all that. You cannot "hide universal sidebar" or change any individual settings on the "blog" or post page. I did check "hide universal sidebar" when I created the post. There is no option to remove the universal sidebar on the template setup for posts page or single post page. site is http://10987.org, and posts page is http://10987.org/news

Hi TPSM, So if I understand you correctly, you have created a page and called it New (I say News due to your link above) and you have set that to the Posts Page in Settings --> Reading. If that is correct you can hide the sidebar from the posts page by going to Platform Settings --> Layout Editor and if you select the full grey block (look at image). Now when you goto your News link it should a full width layout and therefore have no sidebar. Now the only minor issue in doing this, is that whenever you create a post or page from now on you will need to select the post/page layout from the "Pagelines Meta Settings --> General Page Setup and choose the layout for that post/page from the drop down. Hope this helps, if it's not what you was looking for, I think there may be a way to do this with CSS but it would be slightly more difficult. But give me a reply to this post and let me know.
