larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 18, 2011 Design control is not working properly on my site. Changes are stored in the dynamic.css file without the #. If I manually add this to dynamic.css everything is correct. If I make any changes Platformpro the design control elements are changed again (without the #). Anone have a sollution for this? Thanks! kastelic 6 Report post Posted October 18, 2011 You have to click on the little color box and then enter the code when it pops up, rather then just type in the code.
larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 20, 2011 Thanks, but sorry... Tried this a bunch of times, but unfortunately it doesn??t change anything. The box-color is not updated either...
kastelic 6 Report post Posted October 20, 2011 I guess the only way to figure this out is to let someone login to your site and check it out. You can email [email protected] or skype me at jimkastelic if you want to do this.
larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Cool. Will do, just experienced another problem that I need to get fixed first. Now the biggest problem is a blank page after login. I??m beeing logged in, but by some reason not forwarded to the dashboard. If i visit my main page, I get the toolbar on top of page and can get to the dashboard from there. Any suggestions on this? Thanks!
catrina 103 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Several others have had the same problem. I found this issue on the WordPress forums: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/blank-page-after-login-5 Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to. larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Thanks. Yes, I??ve been googling, reading up and down and tried most of the sollutions that comes up. A couple of days ago I found that removing two blank lines at the bottom of wp-config.php fixed it. But, suddenly today the problem re-appeared. I havent done anything else than posting normal posts since then. The only sollution I have not tried yet is to re-upload all WP-files as I can not have the site down right now. (record release for the ensemble today...) Do you know if it??s only to overwrite all the wp-files with fresh ones (an edited wp-config of course) or will something be missing then? (posts etc.) Can not risk to loose anything from the page right now. Thanks. the page is www.tenthing.no by the way... ;)
Rob 547 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Just an odd question, did you place the casino link at the bottom of your site or was that added mysteriously? Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 @rangelone: eh, thanks! :) Have not seen that! Tried out a google plus-plugin a couple hours ago. Must have come with that... http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-google-plus-one/
Rob 547 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 I doubt you really want a casino link in there and only the Supreme Being knows what damage such plugins can do. I'd strongly suggest deactivating and deleting that plugin and checking your database to make sure there are no remaining references to it or the casino. larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Of course... Already deleted! Trusted it as it also was recommended here at the Pagelines forum: http://www.pagelines.com/forum/discussion/11003/google-1-button/p1 Any tips on how to check my database for references? (not that into WP yet...) Thanks!
Rob 547 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Ah. Well first step.. use your search for "casino" and see what comes up. Next, if you have a good hosting company, ask them to search it. Another method is one safe plugin I use http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search-and-replace/ that has a good level of downloads and decent rating. You can ask it to search for "casino" and it will actually go through every table, line of code and tell you whether any reference shows up. larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Ok, thanks. Searched for it, looked into the sql-tables etc, and can not find anything. Hopefully everything??s ok.
Rob 547 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 I hope that resolved the other matter as well. Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Unfortunately not. The blank page-problem was there before trying this plugin and is still present.

Rob 547 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Have you tried deactivating plugins (do it when the site is least active) and seeing if that changes the problem.? Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 yes, I??ve tried both deactivating all plugins and activating one by one as well as renaming the plugins folder.
Rob 547 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Just as an experiment... try logging in (won't hurt your site or deactivate anything)... go to Settings > Permalinks and just save the settings again without changing or editing a thing. larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 No result unfortunately.
larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 It can look like there??s something more that??s weird about the WP-files... In the Dashboard I also get the following error under "incoming links": " Warning: file_get_contents(http:): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /customers/d/5/4/tenthing.no/httpd.www/wp-includes/class-feed.php on line 88 RSS Error: file_get_contents could not read the file " Would it reset much of the site if I overwrite all WP-files with clean ones? larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2011 Tried to deactivate some plugins again now, and this time it looks like deactivating the "post types order"-plugin sorted the login problem. The sad part is that my features now is in another order than I would like. Are there any other options to re-order the features? Also, still problems with the design control-panel. larskurverud 0 Report post Posted October 22, 2011 I??ve received good help from the help desk and all the issues now seems to be fixed. Thank you Pagelines!
