Feature Thumbs background colour

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have uploaded transparent PNGs to use as thumbnails for the feature section. I can't figure out how to make the background of the thumbnails transparent - any idea on this please? Thanks, MM

You will have to make the feature slider itself transparent, i think.
.feature-wrap , #feature-area .fcontainer {background: transparent none !important}
Doesn't help the thumbs still have a background. Here is the page http://rocketfood.ca/new-main/ I firebugged and can isolate an example of the background I want to change to this if I delete #fff I get the desired results just not sure how to change the CSS to effect this generally for the thumbs rather then each individually. Thanks MM

#featurenav a span.nav_thumb, #featurenav a span.nav_thumb span.nav_overlay { background: url("http://rocketfood.ca/RocketWord/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/grocery2.png") repeat scroll 0 0 transparent; } Setting the background color to transparent instead of #ffffff should do the trick.

Mstmarie, If you place code, it helps to use the [ code ] and closing [ /code ] (without spaces). That way punctuation doesn't become smilies.

If you goto "/wp-content/themes/platformpro/sections/features" and open "section.features.php" in your FTP client and from there do a search for:
style='background:#fff
Replace that with this:
style='background:transparent
That should do the trick, but remember to use the instructions here for child themes so that when or if there is a new update for Platform Pro the above code won't be replaced. http://www.pagelines.com/docs/custom-sections
