gayatriom 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2011 Hi. I'd like to tuck the feature area- bottom area, under the shadows of the pagelines-content area. Sort of like what's going on at the top of my feature area. however, z-index doesn't seem to work. if you look at esww-law.com homepage, you can see what I mean. Rob 547 Report post Posted October 15, 2011 Okay. I'm amazed at the progress you've made and impressed. However, I have no idea what you mean by this one. Where exactly are you trying to put what? Could you make a mock up image and include it between [ img ] and [ /img ] (with no spaces in the tags). Just add the URL of the image. You don't have to add any Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
 gayatriom 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2011 Thanks so much.. hmm. like make a mockup in adobe or something ? let me try to explain it again. So.. notice how I've added a drop shadow to the branding area? notice how the feature slider and my right hand sidebar pic of the building nicely tuck under that shadow... Now. What I would LOVE is if shadow from the content BELOW the feature slider and the building to the right would overlap on TOP of the feature slider and building. This way the feature slider and building are now is in this special place. get it? I don't even know if it's possible without simply adding a frame around the entire slider in a div and I'm not sure how that would work. I wasn't suggesting the clickable portion of Adam's article, but the portion about the drop shadow. I presumed that might give you some clue how to achieve the goal as it added a 'layer' on the slider. I presumed that's the way to create this. One of the other moderators might be capable of handling this as they have different styling skills. I feel it's a z-index issue. If only I could change the Z-index of the bottom portion. I've used the innershadow effect. thanks so much for that. It looks awesome, but doesn't really do what I'm aiming for... (i'm using it tho.)
