IE image positioning issue

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm trying to position a link to login to a separate application in the header of my platform pro site. I tried to follow along on the hook functions video. It seemed to work ok, but in IE9 (only version i have) it bleeds left into the header image. On other browsers it's ok. Here's the code I used:

add_action('pagelines_branding_icons_end', 'login_button');

	// function name
	function login_button(){?>

	<?php }
By the way, I got that HTML through a free html generator. I don't actually know the language. Just bits and pieces. http://blogstage.americandatanetwork.com/ Thanks in advance for your help. It's much appreciated.

Thanks for the response. That didn't seem to work though. Any other ideas?

Try Jimmy's code, but using the "!important" declaration since your code is inline. So, it would be:
.sign-in { width: initial !important; }
or
.sign-in { width: 300px !important; }
That worked! Well, partly. I tried changing the align="right" to style="float: right;" and that in combination with your and Jimmy's help did the trick. Thanks so much. You guys are great!
