carousel automation not working

I've setup the carousel with Nextgen gallery and followed the requirements for having the platform pro settings set to te nextgen carousel but I still can't get the automation to work. www.methodinteriors.com. Any ideas of what I'm missing?

Did you actually do the specific customization to create automation? Normally, the carousel slides on clicking one of the arrows. It does not transition by default.

The carousel does not have a setting to make it automatically advance. Only the feature slider has that option.

Then why under carousel settings for Platform Pro do you have an automation speed? I found one post where I can go in and change the code for the Platform pro to make the carousel feature automatic but the open case was not completed. I don't mind removing the feature of being able to click on each image to enlarge- the primary goal is to have the carousel scroll automatically. I tried using the jquery plugin but the formatting gets thrown out of whack when I use it. Any help on this will really be appreciated. It's the last thing left on this website. Thanks.

I understand how that can be read as Automation Speed. It is actually Animation Speed, meaning the speed at which it advances when you click the next and previous buttons. As for what the code would look like, I came up with this: [code] [/code] However, I wasn't able to get it to work unfortunately.

There are many plugins with sliders/carousels that transition automatically. I'd suggest looking for a recent one at http://www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins
